We’re into zazen (sitting meditation) in a big way, but without the bells, whistles, or hoops. Over the 8 videos, you’ll learn to sit comfortably and properly, how to do walking meditation, how to deal with distractions, and how to gain comfort and ease as you sit.
Qi Gong is essential for building energy and flexibility for the Zen Lifestyle. Darbella teaches you what you need to do.
Qi Gong is counter-intuitive. Nothing much seems to be going on, and yet there is this subtle shift in the quality of your energy, and in your ability to move and use your body. Qi Gong is all about learning to move with ease and flow.
Wayne demonstrates simple yoga stretches, designed to increase your body flexibility.
The stretches to be easy to do — our gentle approach is not the “Shake it ’til you break it,” “No pain, no gain” philosophy of Health Club Amazons.
The stretches open body, mind and spirit. Participants are amazed at what happens — parts that have been frozen for years thaw out!
Breathing??? Yup!!!
Learning to breather properly frees up an amazing amount of energy. We teach you our favourite Breathwork posture, magnify the effect with a pelvic tilt, and then show you how to re-direct the energy you develop — into focus, creativity, heart-driven vocation, and increased sexual energy and vitality.
Most people focus on where they want to be, or spend their days regretting what they did. We prefer the present moment.
We don’t teach Zen, per se. We teach what we call “self-responsible living.” Zen informs us, however — as we demonstrate simplicity, directness, and moment by moment awareness. You will learn to live in the “here-and-now,“not through our wisdom (we have none!) but through the daily experience of sitting, stretching, breathing, and Qi Gong.
